We're going to Ibiza, uhh Texel

Aaaw, the holiday is over! School was off for one week, but (unfortunately) everything started again today. Luckily we still have the memories! I (Lis) went to Texel (an island in the north of the Netherlands) for a weekend and it was pretty cold, but beautiful too. So, I'm just going to have to show you the pictures!

What's so special about this island (well, any island, actually), is that you can walk around it, but you will always see this. You'll never lose track of the beautiful sea <3

This lighthouse may look small, but it huge when you stand underneath it! By the way, I still can't believe that people actually live in those houses. I would feel so lost and lonely overthere... 

On the island there were lots of very funny scarecrows. Mostly made of useless old material, so I respect the person who made this! 

This is the picture that I love the most. It's made on our way home, when we were on the boat back to the mainland.

Chocolate

We all love chocolate, but many people say that it's good

for your health, some people say it is not.

What is the true? I'm going to tell you.

Chocolate has a negative side and a positive side.

We'll first talk about the positive side :

Chocolate let the brain produce serotonin. And Serotonin give us the feeling of happiness. That's why people say that it's good when you're sad or depressive to eat chocolate.

It is proved that chocolate reduce the risk of having cancer or other heart diseases.

It's because chocolate has anti-oxidants.

According to many researches it says that if you eat chocolate while you're pregnant it will reduce pre-eclampsia. There is no cure for this, but if you eat chocolate you will decrease at least 19 - 40 % the chance.

Some negative things about chocolate :

The most important thing is that you can't eat much chocolate in a time,

because it makes you fat.

Some chocolates have hydrogenated oils in the chocolates.

Those are not good for your heart

- So if you want to eat chocolate while your sad or depressive, you can eat a bar chocolate

- If you are pregnant you can eat at least 1 or 2 chocolates in a week.

- Don't eat too much chocolate, because it's delicious!

I love her and that's the begin of everything [Part 3]

"Oh my god Ash!", shouts Audrey. "Haay Rey". "How are you Ash?". "Yeah I'm fine, how was your audition going?". "Yeah it's so stupid, those people were searching for dancers who can dance jazz or ballet something like that, and not for hip-hop". "Huh why is that so? You saw the leaflet and it says only dancers, not which type of dance". "Yeah I know, but they said the leaflets were already printed when they realized that they didn't put the type of dance. So they putted on their website, which I didn't had", said Audrey sad through the phone.

"Yeah that's sad, they don't know about your dance. You should try some other dance auditions. I'm really sure you would be selected", Ashley said. "Hmm no, I don't want to waste my time like this. I'm already fed up. I just hate the fact that they put a small hall where you can wait with a lot of people till you hear your name through the speaker. So I don't want to do this again. I'm happy I could at least dance at our dance club. But tell me about your date! Do you like this guy? Did something happen between you and him?".

"I need to do some homework, so I need to hang up". "What? Doing homework in the holiday? The May holiday just started yesterday, and you want to do homework already?", Audrey questions. "Yeah you know, I got low marks this period so I need to get good marks. So I'm going to do every day a bit", she says. "Hmm, that's really good of you. But I can't do that. It's holiday. I'm always starting the last day to work on my homework. But tell me last what happen".

 "Hmm, you know.. He's really handsome, kind and funny, but I don't know if he likes me. So I didn't kiss him on the first date. Kayla really knows my kind of taste in boys. You know he's the cousin of Kayla!", she yelled. "Ah come on, my ear is hurting. Talk a bit quieter". "Actually nothing happen between us, but I really like him. So we agreed to meet Thursday", says Ashley. "Huh, why so late? It's just Saturday and you have at least 2 weeks to meet with him so much!". "I don't know, let's see. But I really have to hang up now", Ashley says. Okay, let's hang up then. I'll call you later to meet", Audrey says. "I'm going to work in the evening at the bar, so I'm not at home then, call me tomorrow". "Yeah I'll try", says Audrey and ends the call.

Audrey thinks "Hmm, Ashley is actually a really open social type. If it comes to learn someone she's the one who can do that easy. She had so much boyfriends before, but she couldn't be with him more than maximum 2 weeks. And I never heard Ashley like this, so serious. Is she really in love this time? Hmm, I don't know. I had never a boyfriend, because I haven't seen mine yet. Or maybe I have, but I need to know more about him, I don't know. Aahh, is it already 4 o clock? I should go down to see if my mum is there".

"Hi mum! How was your day on your work?", audrey asks her. "It went good, I told you about that mother who need to do the in virto fertilization, because she couldn't get kids. It went good. Do you have any plans for this holiday. Do you want to go somewhere?". "Huh, why? Do you have some days off or something? Of course I want to go somewhere, but I thought you couldn't with your work", Audrey says. "No, you know that aunty Lucy, my bestfriend?", her mum asks her. "Yeah of course I remember. Her son, played always with me before when I was 6. Do you remember his name mum?", she asks.

"Yeah it was Ryan, but I've got a question to you. I hope you want to do it", her mum says. "Yeah go on". "Her daughter, Maria is going to marry an Indian boy Surya, and she said to me that I had to come. But like you said, I've got many operations to do, so I really can't go. Do you want to do me a favor? Can you go for me there and stay there a week or so?".

"Mum! A week? What the hell, that's too long mum, I can go there for a day okay. But not for so long!", yells Audrey. "No listen, this is a kind of an Indian wedding and Lucy said to me that on an Indian wedding it takes a week to prepare everything for the wedding. So you need to help there. Please darling?", her mum asks. "No ma, come on, I can't go there!". "Okay, listen, 1 thing, you can see that boy again, and maybe you fall in love with him, and I can be co-mother-in-law with Lucy! Haha, that would be fun.

Okay sorry, uh listen. If you go there, I'll give you the laptop you want okay? Because this is really important for me, and if you are behaving like this, I need to do something that causes you to go there", her mother tells. "Okay mum, I'll go", she's saying.

"You need to go tonight there, so you can start tomorrow with helping". "Okay mum".

Yeah people this time I have a big piece for you. Enjoy!

"Oh my god, what a beautiful girl is she, Ryan thinks. So cute, she is shy and looking down, awww. Really lovely. On a way it's good it's crowded here, I could be close to her. But there is a space between us. I want a bit more people here, so that they are going to push everyone, and I could get a bit closer to her. I don't want to play with her or something. I like her, so I don't think I'm playing now. Come on people, do something for me... Or wait.. Why should I wait? I'm just going to get closer to her, I don't mind.

"Huh, why is he so close to me, I couldn't even breath!, Audrey thinks. All those stupid people are surrounding us, I couldn't go anywhere". Slowly Audrey looks up and meet his eyes again and looks away. "Why is he looking at me? I'm not even that beautiful, I think. He is really handsome, so why would he look at me?". Suddenly she felt a push in her back and she felt forward and hit Ryan and went to fall, but Ryan could grab her. "Uh.. thanks", Audrey says to him. "It's okay", he replies looking at her.

"Yes I could get the chance to touch her. She's really so cute, the way she looked again at me, with a kind of shock in her eyes. Really lovely. Should I say something to her? Ask her about something? Hmm.. I don't know." All of a sudden the crowd disappeared, just a few people were over. "Audrey Williams". "Oh I need to go now", thinks Audrey and goes to the door to do her audition. She sees a girl performing. "She's doing jazz. She's really good! Let's see what those judges are going to say. Haha, like I thought she's selected. Oh my god, I'm really nervous. I don't know if they like my hip-hop moves. I should do something. Let's go".  And she went to the middle of the stage.

 "Hi, I'm Audrey Williams, and I hope that you three like my dance". And she danced with confidence that she will let them show who she is, how good she can dance. "Okay, stop". And she stopped. "What's wrong, am I not doing it good?", she asks. "Actually many people thought that this musical is included with hip-hop, but we are looking for classic and jazz. We wrote it on our website, because the leaflets were already printed", the judge answered. "Oh I only had the leaflet, not the website. So I didn't know", she says. "Yeah we understand it, I'm sorry, you can go now".

"Ryan Wilson can come", the judge said. "Yeah we already called him, but he disappeared or didn't come", a girl said. "Huh, who would lose such a opportunity for a musical like this? Or did he also like me came for hip-hop?", Audrey was thinking. "Shit, that's soo bad! I was like her to come here for hip-hop, but like she said, I only saw the leaflet. She danced very good hip-hop. She's really good", Ryan thought while he was walking to the bus stop.

Mmm . . . any advice?

I (Lis) am working on some sort of collage for my room, which I want to fill with pictures of me with friends and family, but also other things I love, like ice cream (Ben & Jerry's!) or tv series. For example, I used to love Charmed so I've put a picture of that on it. The things that are on it now are quite old, so I want some new and inspirational stuff on it aswell. Have you got any advice? I love her and that's the begin of everything

"Oh my god, Audrey thinks. What's this? Why is it so crowded here? I didn't know that for a small dance audition comes this lot of people. This is such a small place for so many people. Why the heck am I alone here? I could have bring Ashley with me, but she was having her blind date which was arranged by Kayla. Kayla told me that this person was the one for Ashley. I don't know what Ashley is doing with him now, but what should I do now? I don't know when they are calling me". Audrey look around and sees a board. She's going there and reads what it says.

"We assume that everyone is present on time. We are calling everyone on the alphabet through the speaker. If you hear your name, you have to go through the door and have to go straight and take the last right door and do you audition".

"No! This is such a fucking shit! It's not fair, I'm coming in the end, with my stupid name : Audrey Williams, Audrey thinks. Woow it's now really getting crowded here, everyone is pushing and I can't go anywhere. You know I just stand here", she thinks. She's standing there looking down and waiting till she hears her name. She looks up and was straightly looking in a pair of brown chocolate colored eyes. She looks at the face of this person.

"It is a boy. He's tinted and his hair is dark brown, half long till his eyes and is slide to the left side. He's tall, I'm only coming till his shoulder. He's got a silver chain around his neck with a Yin-Yang pendant, she thinks. Oh no, I don't know what to do now, he's looking at me. Hmm, I should look down or something... He's wearing a light blue T-shirt, low jeans with K-swiss shoes. He has really got a nice style. Why am I so shy? What's going on? He is just a boy coming here to do audition that's it, what am I thinking? I should stop thinking.

We went last Tuesday to a park and I, Nis, had my camera with me. I really like to experiment with my camera. And everytime I'm learning something new. This time Lis was with me, so I took some pictures of her :

We were hoping on sun that day. And we were lucky, I could take some pictures when the sun was shining on Lis face like this.

We had in the park some branches and I thought it would be a perfect place. And like I thought, it is in the end a beautiful picture. I like the way Lis looks =D

It was really cold outside. Like you can see the water was frozen. I wanted the water in my shot, so I thought to take this picture from above. And it got a beautiful perspective.

The boy from the bakery

She lost her attention for just one second. There weren’t many cars and she just had to look around. She had to smell the summerafternoon. She turned her head to the left, just a bit. But it was enough to make her heart skip a beat. Because there he was. Long lost summers. Old flowers that would now be completely vanished. The tree they sat in would now be fallen or atleast totally rottened. But to her it was like all of that came alive again. Because there he was, the boy from the bakery. The boy from her youth, the boy she had spent all her time with since she was a little girl.

She remembered the day that they we’re playing in the river, but a storm broke out and he had to take her somewhere save. ‘I have to go home’ she had shouted, but he had known that the long way home would get her strucked by lightning or atleast completely soaked. So he took her to an old barn, not far from the river. That’s where he did it, that’s where it happened, for the very first time. After his wet lips had touched hers, he had whispered: ‘You have a very pretty smile’ 

She was sure it was him. There was no doubt that this neat looking man, he had to be in his thirties right now, was that boy, the boy from the bakery. She knew so, because his eyes represented her feelings. And the look that they shared, just those few seconds, is a look that will never be forgotten.
